2025 NFL Mock Draft: Jaguars, Raiders, Jets, Panthers make their moves in DBN’s mock draft

It’s time to kick off the 2025 DBN Community NFL Mock Draft! We are releasing four picks at a time in one post to give you more substance to digest how the draft is unfolding. Here you can see all of our NFL mock draft coverage for the Cleveland Browns

No. 5 – Jaguars – Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

The selection and write-up were made by Chris Pokorny:

The Jaguars are in a spot where they really don’t need to get creative. Two quarterbacks are off the board, and then after that, the top two position players in Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter also came off. Mason Graham is the other player who is viewed as dominant at his position, and a league of his own.

It also works out for Jacksonville, since they aren’t just taking best player available. It fills a big need for the Jaguars, and it also follows a consistent philosophy if you go back to the coaching staff’s days with the Rams, when Aaron Donald was the anchor there for so long. Jacksonville hopes Graham can be a special player like that too, and they have a nice surplus of picks in other rounds to try to help Trevor Lawrence instead.

No. 6 – Raiders – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

The selection and write-up were made by Joe_tait_wham_RH:

Ashton is considered by many to be a “generational” talent at the RB position and one of the safest picks in this draft. The Raiders need an offensive boost and Jeanty can provide that in 2025 and beyond. It may be an old school choice to pick a RB in the top 10, but in a weak WR class Raider Nation will jump at the chance to add a dynamic ball carrier for Pete Carroll to build around.

No. 7 – Jets – Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

The selection and write-up were made by Crawford_T:

With a new QB and HC, the Jets will be retooling their offense once again and they start by adding to the line. Membou is young and needs some refinement but is talented and powerful, with plenty of experience run blocking over the last two years as Missouri’s starting RT. He will be starting at that same position for the Jets, who will probably be looking to run the ball a bit more with Justin Fields at QB now instead of Rodgers.

No. 8 – Panthers – Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

The selection and write-up were made by wahoo7:

McMillan is a rare physical talent who is silky smooth and has hands like velcro. With an ascending Bryce Young and an evolving offense, he can quickly become WR1 while learning an NFL work ethic from a veteran like Adam Theilen. He’s going to be a matchup nightmare for defenses, especially in the red zone. We’re betting on McMillan’s talent and the ability of Dave Canales and Brad Idzik (who both coached a similarly-built Mike Evans in Tampa) to get the most out of it.

Up next will be the 9-12 picks in the 2025 DBN Community Mock Draft.
