Typically the person calling the plays, former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick found his 24-year-old girlfriend quick to shut down one question during an interview this weekend.
Appearing on “CBS Sunday Morning“ on April 27 to discuss his new book, “The Art of Winning,” Belichick was asked a range of questions, from his football career to his personal life, including details about his relationship with Jordon Hudson.
In a video shared on social media, Hudson, who interviewer Tony Dokoupil described as a “constant presence,” appeared to silently watch her 73-year-old boyfriend’s interview from behind a nearby desk.
But when Belichick was asked how they met, Hudson interjected.

“We’re not talking about this,” Hudson said before Belichick answered.
Since airing, the interview moment has circulated online. While neither has publicly commented on the matter, Hudson has been reposting reactions on her X account. Prior to the recent shares, Hudson’s account hadn’t been active since January 2024.
Though Hudson opposed revealing how the couple came to know each other, she celebrated their “meetiversary” in a Feb. 11 Instagram post. The caption suggests the two initially met in 2021.
At the time, she added the hashtags, “#LoveIsNotLogical, #EvenThoughItKindOfIs, #Ironic, #IPhilToPhil.”
Earlier in the interview, Dokoupil asked the current University of North Carolina football coach how he deals with people “invested” in his relationship with Hudson. The couple has drawn attention for being frequently featured on Hudson’s Instagram page.
“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks,” Belichick said. “Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.”

Hudson is a former cheerleader at Bridgewater State University, from where she graduated in 2022, according to her LinkedIn profile. The profile also lists her as the chief operating officer of Belichick Productions from August 2024 to February 2025. Hudson will be competing in the Miss Maine USA pageant next month, she shared in an Instagram post.
The couple first publicly appeared together Dec. 5, 2024. The two have gone viral Hudson’s Instagram posts, including a shot of Belichick dressed as a fisherman and Hudson in a mermaid costume for Halloween.
Another viral post included the couple doing yoga-like moves together on a beach in Florida.
“I’m on some of those social media platforms, but I honestly don’t follow,” Belichick explained when asked about his partner’s Instagram posts during the CBS interview.

The football coach referred to Hudson as his “idea mill” and “creative muse” in the acknowledgements section of his new book.
While Hudson received credit in the book, Belichick’s former boss, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, was notably left out. Belichick addressed the decision in Sunday’s interview.
“It’s about my life lessons in football, and it’s really more about the ones that I experienced directly,” Belichick said.
When Dokoupil noted that Kraft was not even in the acknowledgments section, Belichick responded, “Correct.”
Belichick left his role as head coach of the Patriots after the 2023 NFL season. When asked if he was treated with respect when let go by Kraft, Belichick replied, “It was a mutual parting of ways.”
