Comedian Tracy Morgan was taken out of Madison Square Garden in a wheelchair during the New York Knicks home game against the Miami Heat on March 17 after seemingly falling ill.
Video and photographs captured what appeared to be the comedian wiping vomit from his face as he sat in his courtside seat during the third quarter of the Knicks’ 116-95 victory.
Cellphone video also showed Morgan in a wheelchair with people surrounding him and fans looking on as he was wheeled away while he covered his mouth with a towel.
The incident delayed the game for more than 10 minutes, according to The Associated Press.
“We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside,” a spokesperson for Madison Square Garden said in a statement to NBC News about Morgan, who is often seen attending Knicks games.
It’s unclear what was wrong with Morgan. Representatives for the “30 Rock” star and the NBA did not respond to NBC News’ requests for more information as of March 17.
Morgan has endured a series of high-profile medical issues over the years. In 2014, he wound up in a coma and suffered brain trauma, a broken leg and multiple broken ribs when a limousine bus in which he was a passenger was hit by a Walmart tractor trailer in New Jersey. The crash killed his friend, comedian James McNair, and injured two other people in the limousine.
Morgan also previously had a kidney transplant in 2010.

Professionally, Morgan appeared on February’s “SNL50” anniversary special, starring in a “Black Jeopardy” sketch that was most notable for Eddie Murphy portraying Morgan.
“This is incredible,” he said on the “SNL50: The Red Carpet” before the show, according to People. “Just thank the Lord that I’m a part of this, that I survived the accident and I’m alive to be here for this.”
NBC also announced earlier this month that Morgan was set to appear in a comedy pilot for the network about a “disgraced former football player named Reggie who’s on a mission to rehabilitate his image.”
Morgan is slated to executive produce the project, as will his former “30 Rock” co-star and fellow “SNL” alum Tina Fey. Daniel Radcliffe and another former “SNL” cast member, Bobby Moynihan, are also expected to star.
