Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law takes a swipe at Jordon Hudson after disastrous CBS interview

Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law Jennifer Schmitt has her own thoughts about his “publicist.”

Schmitt, who is married to Belichick’s son Stephen, seemingly shaded the former NFL coach’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, after she awkwardly interrupted Belichick’s “CBS Sunday Mornings” interview.

Ex-New England Patriots players Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski commented on the recent incident on their “Dudes on Dudes” podcast Wednesday, alleging Hudson, 24, was “working with Coach Belichick in the professional world” as his publicist.

Comedian Nikki Glaser supported the former athletes’ remarks in a comment under a clip from the show that was shared to Instagram.

“100% this. She’s acting as his publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood,” she wrote.

Schmitt then jumped in and appeared to throw shade at Hudson in her response to the “F-Boy Island” host.

“Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” she wrote.

Page Six contacted Schmitt for further comment, but did not immediately receive a response.

The couple originally made headlines earlier this week after Hudson interrupted the six-time Super Bowl winner’s interview to stop him from answering questions about their relationship.

Journalist Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick, 73, who was promoting his new book “The Art of Winning: Lessons From My Life in Football,” how the couple met when the former cheerleader interjected.

“We’re not talking about this,” Hudson said sternly.

Hudson has since faced backlash online for her unexpected comment. However, her beau showed his support for her on Wednesday as he released a lengthy statement defending her actions.

“I agreed to speak with ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ to promote my new book, ‘The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.’ Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book,” Belichick said in a statement obtained by Page Six.

“Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book.”

The college football coach went on to explain that Hudson’s outburst came “after this occurred several times,” so she spoke out to “reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.”

A statement from CBS, however, denied any such arrangement.
