Marvel fans are thrilled with an iconic villain’s official entry into the MCU in the final episodes of Marvel Studios’ Ironheart. The miniseries starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, AKA Ironheart, dropped on the streaming platform Disney+ on June 24, 2025, with its first three episodes. Now, the recently released last three episodes of Ironheart have debuted a long-anticipated villain and even shared a glimpse of his character’s true form.

Mephisto’s devil form appears in Ironheart’s blink and you’ll miss it moment

Mephisto has finally entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the final episode of Ironheart, and the devil is portrayed by none other than Sacha Baron Cohen. There were rumors going around for months stating that The Dictator actor was supposedly joining the MCU as Mephisto. Hence, his appearance now confirms all the rumors.

Episode 6 of Ironheart, “The Past Is the Past,” reveals Mephisto to be the force who gave Anthony Ramos’ Parker Robbins the red cloak. Additionally, fans can catch a glimpse of the devil lord’s true form as he sits down to have a conversation with Riri Williams.

As Mephisto reveals his name and tries to strike a deal with Williams, he stirs a spoon in his cup of coffee. When he brings the spoon out, in the reflection, viewers can finally see his red skin, yellow eyes, and menacing grin.

Ironheart fans react to Sacha Baron Cohen’s Mephisto

Following the reveal of Mephisto and his devil form in Ironheart, fans have taken over social media to express their excitement.

A user named Giselle on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Mephisto from the reflection of the spoon looks so freaking awesome even from this angle.”

Another user compared the revelation to that of He Who Remains in Loki. They stated, “Mephisto’s introduction feels as big as He Who Remains introduction at the end of Loki S1, and that really excites me for the future of the MCU.”

The same aforementioned user also shared a clip of Cohen’s Mephisto from Ironheart. They wrote, “This scene SOLD me on Mephisto like Sacha Baron Cohen’s performance is SPINE-CHILLING.”
