ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — As Tampa Bay gets ready to celebrate the Fourth of July, you may be wondering — which store can I run to last-minute to pick up some hot dogs and red, white and blue cupcakes?

Here’s which grocery stores will be open and closed for the Fourth of July 2025.

Publix is open on the Fourth of July. 

Publix Liquor stores will also be open. However, Publix pharmacies will be closed for the holiday.

Walmart is open for regular hours on the Fourth of July. 

ALDI stores operate limited hours on the Fourth of July. 

All Aldi stores across Tampa Bay will close at 4 p.m. for the Independence Day holiday. Stores will open at their regular times (8:30 a.m. or 9 a.m., depending on the location).

Trader Joe’s will be open on the Fourth of July. However, all stores will close at 5 p.m.

Costco will be closed on the Fourth of July.
