Former Trail Blazer Robert Covington took the witness stand Wednesday in the rape trial of former teammate Ben McLemore, testifying that he saw a woman trying to arouse McLemore while the two were on a couch in Covington’s Lake Oswego home in the predawn hours of Oct. 3, 2021.

The woman testified last week that McLemore raped her as she lay under a blue blanket incapacitated after a night of drinking at Covington’s home.
