Just one Spice Girl was in attendance to see Melanie “Mel B” Brown walk down the aisle.
The singer, 50, and hairstylist Rory McPhee tied the knot at The Crypt at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on Saturday, July 5.
The couple’s guest list included several celebrity pals, but of Mel B’s Spice Girl bandmates — Emma Bunton, also known as Baby Spice — was the only member of the group who was there in person to support her pal.
Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm was busy performing live onstage at the We Love the 90 & 00s Festival in Stockholm, Sweden, and Victoria Beckham opted to send well wishes the couple’s way on Instagram. “Congratulations to you both! We hope you had the most amazing day,” she wrote while sharing the couple’s joint Instagram post from their wedding day.
Other famous faces at Mel B’s wedding included the likes of Cara Delevingne, Katherine Ryan and Daisy Lowe.

Even though Beckham and Mel C, both 51, plus Geri Halliwell didn’t attend Mel B’s wedding on July 5, Beckham also sent her well-wishes online in the days leading up.
On Thursday, July 3, Beckham posted a photo of her and Mel B together on her Instagram Stories alongside the caption, “Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx.”

Over the years, the Spice Girls have remained close. Bunton, 49, and Mel C were both in attendance at Mel B’s 50th birthday celebrations in June. The group also reunited the previous year to celebrate Beckham turning 50.
Despite missing a few Spice Girls, Mel B’s big day was full of family and friends. The gorgeous bride walked down the aisle with her daughters 26-year-old Phoenix, whom she shares with her ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar, 13-year-old Madison, whose father is Brown’s ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, and 18-year-old Angel Iris, whose dad is Eddie Murphy.
Mel B wore an ivory custom gown from Josephine Scott for her nuptials, and later changed into a dress from designer Justin Alexander.
“Mel was a dream to work with, bringing her own sense of style to the occasion,” Caroline Black, the owner of Evelie Bridal Boutiques in London, who helped the musician pick out her wedding attire, tells PEOPLE.
After she and McPhee, 37, said “I do,” guests were treated to a reception at the Shangri-La venue inside London’s the Shard building, which offers breathtaking views of the city.
Brown and McPhee first began dating in 2019, but they knew each other before, due to the hairstylist being a close friend of her family. Then, in 2022, McPhee asked the former Spice Girl to marry him during a getaway.

During a March 2024 appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna, Mel B revealed that McPhee asked her late father for permission to marry her before popping the question.
“He went to my dad’s grave, so he told me afterwards, and asked for my hand in marriage,” she said. “I mean, not that my dad could say anything because he’s [dead], but it was so lovely.”
