What to know about the MLB All-Star Game schedule and tickets

The 2025 MLB All-Star Game is finally here, and we’ve got everything you need to know if you’re going to Truist Park to enjoy the show.

Why it matters: The annual face-off between the American League and the National League, which starts at 8pm, is a chance for players and fans to set aside rivalries and just enjoy some baseball.

The latest: You can still get tickets to the game, but it’s going to cost you.

  • Ticketmaster shows the starting price for one ticket is $220 for standing-room-only access. A ticket that includes a seat begins at $330.

Zoom in: During the game, the MLB will pay tribute to Hank Aaron’s history-breaking 715th home run that shattered the previous record set by Babe Ruth.

  • The league will recreate the hit by using projection mapping and pyrotechnics at the end of the sixth inning or later (depending on the lighting situation).
  • For the first time, MLB will use the Automated Ball-Strike Challenge System, which tracks a pitch’s path and location to determine whether it was a strike or a ball when it crosses the plate.
  • Some players will be equipped with two-way microphones while they are on the field so they can chat with broadcasters.
  • The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Braves legends Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones and Andrés Galarraga, who were all on the National League team when Atlanta hosted the All-Star Game at Turner Field in 2000.

The roster: Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr. is slated to be among the starting players on the National League team while fellow Brave Chris Sale is among the starting pitchers.

  • According to the AJC, Acuña will bat second for the National League after sitting out Monday’s Home Run Derby.
  • Braves first baseman Matt Olson is on the reserves list.

But first, let’s dance: Before the big show, a pre-game music celebration featuring Atlanta’s Jermaine Dupri and Ludacris will start at 7pm.

  • The duo will introduce players for the 2025 game “in a unique hometown tribute to honor the city’s influence on global music with a medley inspired by Atlanta’s music stars,” MLB previously said.
  • They will be joined on stage by Clark Atlanta University‘s Mighty Marching Panthers and Essence Dance Line.
  • Other musicians performing include the Zac Brown Band, Kane Brown and Lauren Spencer Smith.

How to watch: You can catch the 95th All-Star Game on Fox and Fox Sports.
