Viral Coldplay concert ‘couple’, Astronomer issues a statement about what’s next for them

The ‘couple’ caught cuddling at the Coldplay concert this week could be in more trouble than they initially thought. The tech company where the ‘couple’ worked have now launched a formal HR investigation into the now viral Coldplay concert moment.

The tech firm Astronomer posted a statement on Twitter about the two that were seen at the concert, “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leader are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.” It was the firm’s CEO and Head of People who were caught together.

The statement continues, “The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly. “

It also addressed how no one involved has yet to make a statement, referring to a fake statement from CEO Andy Baron, the man in the video, that was circulating online, “Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video, Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”

In case you haven’t seen the video yet, a camera cuts to the man holding a woman lovingly as Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin says “Oh look at these two!”

They instantly turn away from the camera, the woman covering her face and the guy dropping down out of view as Martin says, “Oh you’re ok!”

But when he realizes they’re trying to hide, Martin quips, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

After that, the man ducks down low and the woman stands with her back turned.

Poke fun at Coldplay all you want, but the band is still on their top selling “Music of Spheres” tour, which has been going around the world since 2022. Their next shows in Madison, WI, Nashville, and Miami are already sold out.

After July, they’re heading back to London to finish the tour, with an end date currently set for September.
