Ex-Celebrity Big Brother contestant Sir Michael Fabricant has spilled the beans on booted housemate Mickey Rourke, 72, claiming that the actor dropped some comments “which could not be broadcast” before his dramatic exit from the show over the weekend.
Rourke was asked to leave the ITV1 spectacle after he was called out for “further use of inappropriate language” and “instances of unacceptable behaviour”.
Big Brother had already given him a warning for “unacceptable language and behaviour” towards JoJo Siwa following some homophobic comments about her sexuality. He didn’t stop there though; he went on to aim “sexual language” at The Only Way Is Essex’s Ella Rae Wise, and showed “language and behaviour” that came across as “threatening and aggressive” towards Love Island hunk Chris Hughes.

Sir Michael, who was the first celeb to get the boot this year, has now let slip that not all of Rourke’s controversial quips made it to our screens.
Chiming in on a Twitter debate (X) on Monday, the ex-Tory MP hit back at a fan who was puzzled about why “people can’t even use” the slang word for cigarette which is also a homophobic slur. Last week, Rourke tried to brush off his homophobic jibes at JoJo by claiming he was chatting about smoking, reports the Mirror.
“Yeah, but that wasn’t said in isolation,” Sir Michael fired back at the Twitter user, hinting at Rourke’s use of the offensive term. “There was a lot more, some of which could not be broadcast.”

In his early days in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Rourke got nosy with JoJo, asking: “Where’s the smoke room? Where’s the cigarette room?” before probing further: “Do you like girls or boys?”.
JoJo clapped back: “Me? Girls. My partner is non-binary,” which led to Rourke dropping a bombshell comment: “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.”
Cool as a cucumber, JoJo assured him: “I can guarantee I’ll still be gay and I’ll still be in a very happy relationship.”
Later on, while Rourke was chilling in the garden, he quizzed Chris about who was getting the boot. He told the Love Island star: “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.”
JoJo, catching wind of this, called him out: “That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.”

Chris jumped in, warning Mickey: “You can’t do that Mickey,” but Rourke wasn’t having it and echoed his previous stance. Then he blurted out: “I need a [cigarette],” with a flippant wave towards JoJo, leading Chris to step up once more, pressing: “Mickey, you can’t say that.”
“I know. I was talking about a cigarette,” Mickey retorted sharply, leaving JoJo rattled by his homophobia as Chris tried to offer some comfort.
Rourke’s stint in the house was extended when the public saved him from eviction on Friday, putting him up against former Tory MP Sir Michael and Corrie’s Jack.
Before making his exit, Mickey owned up with a heartfelt apology: “I stepped over the line. And I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. Because I lost my temper, and I’ve been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I’m very sorry.”
In the latest Celebrity Big Brother drama, EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer has found herself in the hot seat, racking up the most nominations from her fellow housemates. She’s facing the public vote alongside Corrie’s Jack P Shepherd and telly host Trisha Goddard.
The tension is mounting as Tuesday night’s live eviction looms, where viewers will give one celeb the boot from the infamous house. Dance Moms sensation JoJo was among those who nominated Patsy, despite praising her contributions.
JoJo dished out her reasons, saying: “Patsy has been an asset to the house. She’s been cooking, she’s been beautiful, she’s been amazing. But I have seen a side of Patsy that has been a bit, I like to call it finger pointy. I think team players are what we need in the house, and I think Patsy hasn’t really shown that in the last few days.”
Both Trisha and Jack are in the danger zone too, each with four nominations. Trisha got the thumbs down from Chesney Hawkes, Chris Hughes, Ella Rae Wise, and Patsy, while Jack’s fate was sealed by Angellica Bell, Danny Beard, Donna Preston, and Trisha.
