Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison continues to be the subject of mockery ever since trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a first-round pick in February.
Unfortunately for Harrison, ESPN only further fueled the trolling on him during the Mavericks’ do-or-die play-in clash with the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.

After Davis left the floor due to an injury midway through the fourth quarter, the ESPN camera panned on Harrison, who was sitting near courtside. The Mavericks GM was seen staring at Davis as the big man nursed his right knee.
Of course it sparked a flurry of reactions, with many criticizing Harrison once again for trading Doncic for Davis, despite the All-Star forward’s history with injuries.
“AD STAY HURT smh why would you trade Luka for somebody that can’t even play in games consistently,” a commenter wrote.
Another one said, “As AD leaves to the bench — visibly in pain, the camera pans to Nico Harrison’s disgusted face. A perfect encapsulation of the worst trade in sports history. Everything this clown accused Luka blew in his face.”

Others couldn’t help but laugh at the move, with many even praising the ESPN cameraman and the end result of their work.
“nah ESPN cutting from Anthony Davis hobbling off the court to Nico Harrison is cold-blooded,” a viewer wrote.
“Just love that ESPN knows to cut to him after a while possession of AD injured on the court air balling a 3 pt. Just hilarious,” a social media user added.
A poster stated, “Camera man know the assignment lol.”
“The cut to Nico after Anthony Davis walked to the bench with an injury was diabolical,” The Sporting News remarked.
“As AD gets injured ESPN puts the camera on Nico Harrison. They nasty for that,” another viewer laughed.

Anthony Davis deserves some credit, though. He finished with 40 points and nine rebounds in the contest.

At the end of the day, however, the Mavericks still lost to the Grizzlies 120-106. Now, their season is officially over, with Memphis moving on as the eighth seed in the West.
Sure enough, plenty of eyes will be on Harrison as he looks to prove to everyone that he can bring Dallas to the promised land.
