WHILE INVESTIGATORS LOOK INTO ALLEGATIONS OF THEFT. ACCORDING TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, OFFICER MATTHEW CUSSON IS ACCUSED OF STEALING $1,500 IN INVESTIGATIVE FUNDS FROM THE VICE INTELLIGENCE UNIT. THEY SAY A SUPERVISOR REALIZED MONEY WAS MISSING ON THURSDAY AND TOOK IMMEDIATE ACTION. THE PALM BEACH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS HANDLING THE INVESTIGATION. OFFICER CUSSON HAS BEEN PLACED ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE PENDING THE OUTCOME. ON THE TREASURE COAST, A MAN IS NOW CHARGED WITH SECOND DEGREE MURDER FOLLOWING A DEADLY SHOOTING THURSDAY NIGHT IN HOBE SOUND. IT HAPPENED JUST BEFORE 6 P.M. ON BEGONIA WAY. INVESTIGATORS SAY SUSPECT RODERICK JAMES SHOT AND KILLED ERNEST SMITH. JAMES WAS STILL AT THE SCENE WHEN DEPUTIES ARRIVED. HE’S BEING HELD IN THE MARTIN COUNTY JAIL WITHOUT BOND. WE’RE ALSO WORKING TO LEARN MORE. AFTER A SHOOTING IN WEST PALM BEACH INJURED A MINOR. IT HAPPENED AROUND THREE FRIDAY MORNING ON NINTH STREET, CLOSE TO PALM BACH LAKES BOULEVARD. RESPONDING OFFICERS FOUND A MINOR WITH A GUNSHOT WOUND. THEY WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WITH NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES. NO WORD YET ON ANY SUSPECTS OR IF ANY ARRESTS HAVE BEEN MADE. VANESSA.
