Michigan State Clinches Share of Big Ten Men’s Basketball Championship

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Michigan State Spartans claimed a share of the 2024-25 Big Ten Conference championship tonight by virtue of Michigan’s 71-65 loss to Maryland.

This marks the Spartans’ 17th all-time conference title and their first since 2020.

The Spartans enter the final week of the regular season with a 15-3 conference record. Michigan State will return to action on Thursday, when they visit Iowa (8 p.m. ET on FS1). The Spartans will return to the Breslin Center on Sunday to close the regular season against Michigan (12 p.m. ET on CBS).
