LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Lancaster County officials gave an update Sunday after a plane crashed near Lancaster Airport.
During the conference, officials confirmed five people who were on the plane were all taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

Miraculously, officials said nobody was killed in the crash. “[When] we have a plane crash where everybody survives— is a great thing.”
The plane crashed in a parking lot of the Brethren Village, a retirement community in Manheim Township after 3pm. “It appears it may have skidded approximately 100 feet after it made contact with the ground,” officials said.

Hazmat crews responded with fire and police to control the fuel cleanup from the plane.

Everyone at Brethren Village was asked to shelter in place, there is no reason for residents to have further concern.
Nobody on the ground was injured, and the plane did not hit building.
The crash is under investigation by the FAA.
