Multiple people were injured after a small plane carrying five people crashed in the parking lot of a retirement community in Lancaster County Sunday afternoon. Video Above, courtesy WGAL: Plane catches fire after crashing into parking lot in Lancaster County Our sister station WGAL reported a small aircraft crashed around 3 p.m. just outside of the Lancaster Airport in the area of Fairview Drive and Meadowview Court in Manheim Township.The plane appeared to have crashed into the parking lot of Brethren Village retirement community in the Fieldcrest Building. WGAL said hazmat was called to the scene to contain any hazardous materials. In addition, the NTSB and the FAA were called to the scene to investigate.No one on the ground was hurt.
