AUSTIN (WGHP) — Embattled InfoWars host Alex Jones has confirmed that a man killed in Austin, Texas, this weekend was his employee.
KXAN initially reported the homicide Monday with officers saying they were called to an apartment complex late Sunday night. They found the victim in the parking lot and he was taken to the hospital where he died just after midnight.
Police are investigating the death as a homicide but have not released any information about the nature of the man’s death, other than to say he was found “with trauma,” according to KXAN.
On Monday, Alex Jones posted on X that the victim was reporter Jamie White, sharing KXAN’s broadcast alongside his own reaction video.

Jones provided the following statement:
We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night due, in part, to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza.
We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice.
Jamie’s important work will be carried on through InfoWars, our readers, and our cherished listeners.
An article posted on the InfoWars website also describes White as “a light we were blessed to experience as much as we did” and a “one-of-a-kind man.”
