Through the first two rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft the Seattle Seahawks addressed three significant holes on the roster.
In the first round Seattle wasted no time adding competition on the interior of the offensive line, selecting guard Grey Zabel of North Dakota State. Then in the second round John Schneider traded up with the Tennessee Titans in order to add safety Nick Emmanwori with pick 35. After that pair of selections, the Seahawks surprised some by adding tight end Elijah Arroyo, who many analysts have comped to current Seattle tight end Noah Fant.
Those selections left Seattle free to picking without significant regard for need, and they did just that by adding quarterback Jalen Milroe of Alabama.

Milroe is a raw athlete with a cannon for an arm, the exact type of quarterback that John Schneider has sought out consistently during his career, and now it will be up to the coaching staff to help Milroe develop.
