As revealed by the Skyblivion team itself, Bethesda gave free game keys to all the modders working on the fan remake, something the team – mostly comprised, to no one’s surprise, of die-hard Oblivion fans – deeply appreciated.

Even more encouraging, Skyblivion developers said that Bethesda is fully supportive of both remakes existing side by side and has shown no signs of wanting to shut the project down, a stance that has left the community thrilled, especially in light of to the approach another AAA studio with a huge release slated for 2025 takes toward modding efforts.
