On Wednesday morning, the Fever posted a recap of the celebration for fans who may have missed the historic moment.

Indiana had five players score in double figures in the win. Remarkably, this was the third straight game that Stephanie White’s squad played without star guard Caitlin Clark, who remains out with a groin injury.

Natasha Howard was named MVP of the game, finishing with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Aliyah Boston was close behind with 12 points and 11 boards.

Sophie Cunningham provided a spark off the bench, contributing 13 points and seven rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell and Aari McDonald were the other two double-digit scorers, with both players finishing with 12 points.

Defensively, the Fever were outstanding. They held Minnesota star Napheesa Collier to just 12 points on 6-of-18 shooting, though she did grab nine rebounds.

Indiana will have a quick turnaround as they host the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday. Clark’s status for that game remains questionable.
