The Minnesota Vikings and Free Agent CB Isaiah Rodgers have agreed to a two-year deal worth $15 million. The deal includes $8 million in fully guaranteed money.
Rodgers was a sixth round pick in 2020 for the Indianapolis Colts. after a successful college career at UMass. He had 10 starts with the Colts over his three seasons there, including a three-interception season in 2021. He also has a touchdown to his credit, that coming on a 101-yard kickoff return in his rookie season.
Unfortunately for Rodgers, he was suspended for the entire 2023 NFL Season for breaking the league’s gambling policy.
He signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles last offseason. He played in 15 games, including 3 starts.
It’s important to note that, as is the case with all of the deals you’ll see agreed to on Monday and Tuesday, this contract will not become official until the start of the new league year on Wednesday afternoon.
Welcome to Minnesota, Isaiah!
