Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa has clarified her sexuality amid her ‘flirty’ behaviour with Chris Hughes in the house.
The Dance Moms star, 21, who came out as pansexual in 2021 and has described herself as gay in recent interviews, has been dating Kath, who is non binary, since November.
But JoJo has raised eyebrows in recent days after growing close to her CBB housemate and Love Island star Chris, 32, as they’ve been seen cuddling in bed at night and holding hands.
And just two hours before entering the iconic house, JoJo clarified her sexuality and gushed over her partner Kath.
During an appearance on Paul C Brunson’s podcast, We Need To Talk, which was released on Tuesday, he said: ‘Let’s start about sexuality and identity, that journey.’
She responded: ‘One I’m still on for sure. I never thought twice about anything.’

Going on to explain her journey in more detail, JoJo shared: ‘I remember having a best friend, and I was 16, and we met on a cruise ship. I asked her, “So when did you know you were gay?” And she was 15 at the time. And she said, “Oh, I’m not. I have a boyfriend.” And I was like, “Dude, no way.”
‘And she showed me a picture of her boyfriend, and she was the first girl that I ever met and I was like, “lesbian.” Never met any girl like that, but I knew she was. Anyways, we became best friends.
‘Six months later, she comes to me, and she’s like, “Hey, I think I have to tell you something.” It was June, so it was Pride Month. ‘
‘She says, “I think you were right.” And I was like, “that you’re gay?” She was like, ‘Yeah, I think I might mostly like girls.’ And I was like, “Yeah, I know.” Which is exactly what you’re not supposed to do to somebody. You’re not supposed to put that pressure and not supposed to assume anything. But I fully did.
‘And two months later, she became my first girlfriend.’
JoJo went on to explain: ‘At this point I’m straight and she asked me “do you have a crush on anybody right now, will you tell me who it is” and I said “no” and we played this game the whole week, she’d keep asking me.
‘And she said “will you just tell me if it’s a boy or a girl” and she was the first person that I said “I have a crush on a girl”. And she said “I knew it, I knew you were gay too, that’s why you cared so much about me being gay.”
‘My mum said, “Do you like her as a friend or as more than a friend” and I can’t lie to save my life so I said “More than a friend”, and my mum was like “I figured.”‘

Speaking about coming out publicly in 2021, she revealed: ‘Elton John called me, got my phone number and called me… He just wanted to say how proud he was of me and congratulations.
‘I thought it was all positive… and then I scrolled, and I was like, holy s***. And my thought wasn’t whoa, people are being so mean to me. it was whoa, people are really homophobic, still.’
Gushing over her current partner Kath, she added: ‘I have the most amazing, beautiful partner, they are incredible human being who I don’t know how I snagged them at all.’
‘With Kath, I just trust them beyond trust.’
She added her dream is to, ‘have babies, I just want to be a mom… I’ve had a very maternal instinct for a very long time since I was 12.’
Kath has been cruelly taunted online after trolls accused the dancer of cheating with Chris on Celebrity Big Brother.
The pair have been seen cuddling in bed at night with Chris stroking JoJo’s back – and fans watching on live stream spotted her sleeping on the floor next to his bed.
And now trolls have taken to the comment section of JoJo’s partner Kath’s latest Instagram post, cruelly branding Chris and JoJo ‘the UK’s favourite couple’.

But others have leapt to the defence of JoJo, saying that the connection with Chris is purely platonic and slamming viewers for questioning the dancer’s sexuality.
Taunting Kath, trolls wrote: ‘Chris and Jojo are the UKs favourite couple now❤️’; ‘Girl you gotta ditch yo cheating ass gf’;
‘Jojo is publicly cheating on you on live television,’; ‘Jojo cheated with Chris Hughes. Imagine all the other things behind closed doors,’;
‘Yeah cos me and my platonic male friends lie in bed and tickle my back and say they missed having me in bed in the morning. Sooo friendly.’
Leaping to the young star’s defence and comforting Kath, fans said: ‘No way you guy are coming in kath’s comments to taunt her about jojo (lesbian btw) getting close to a straight man. they’re freaking friends?? platonic relationships exist and it’s very odd to try and get kath riled up,’;

JoJo’s time in the house got off to a traumatic start when she was the subject of a horrific homophobic tirade from since-removed housemate Mickey Rourke.
The Hollywood actor, 72, was booted from the show on Saturday after exploding into a foul-mouthed rant amid an aggressive altercation with Chris.
But before this he had already reduced TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise, 24, to tears with a disgusting sexual comment and made a series of homophobic jibes to JoJo – which resulted in nothing more than a warning.
Last week after just one day in the house Mickey had insinuated he would be able to ‘make JoJo straight’ during their time in the house and used a homophobic slur to describe her .
Then last night Ella broke down in tears after Mickey joked about ‘coming in her’ after she gave him some instructions from Big Brother.
