Chipotle is giving away BOGO codes, free burritos for a year

Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back its popular interactive game, Burrito Vault, in celebration of National Burrito Day on April 3.

This year, the game features more prizes, including up to 157,500 buy-one-get-one free entrée codes and the chance for select winners to receive free burritos for a year.

Chipotle Rewards members in the U.S. and Canada can access the game at UnlockBurritoDay.com. The game will be open until April 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST or 8:59 p.m. PST.

To unlock the vault, players must correctly guess a burrito order, ingredient by ingredient. The first 2,500 members to crack the code will win a BOGO code each hour.

For the first time, the fast-casual chain is giving away free burritos for a year to the first player who unlocks the vault each hour. Additionally, after all BOGO codes have been claimed, those who attempt the game will receive 25 Chipotle Rewards points, while supplies last.

The game, inspired by digital word puzzles, was played over two million times in 2024. This year, Chipotle will refresh the winning code every hour to distribute prizes throughout the event.
