We can confirm the starting line-ups and substitutes for tonight’s UEFA Europa League round of 16, second leg against AZ Alkmaar at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (8pm UK).
Ange Postecoglou has made six changes from the 1-0 first leg defeat in the Netherlands last week, making it four changes to the side that started our 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League last time out.
With Kevin Danso ruled out through injury, Micky van de Ven comes in to start for the first time since our final league stage outing against Elfsborg on 30 January – rekindling his centre-back partnership with Cristian Romero which we haven’t seen since Chelsea on 8 December 2024.
Another enforced change sees James Maddison replace the suspended Rodrigo Bentancur in midfield, whilst Lucas Bergvall comes in for Yves Bissouma who is named amongst our substitutes. The final swap is in attack as Brennan Johnson makes way for captain Heung-Min Son.
Meanwhile, experienced defender Ben Davies returns from his recent injury setback to make the bench after missing our previous four matches.
