The last person to see a missing University of Pittsburgh pre-med student had his passport seized by authorities in the Dominican Republic as the search for the woman enters its third week.

Joshua Riibe, an Iowa native who attends college in Minnesota, has had his passport taken, is confined to his hotel and is accompanied by officials wherever he goes, his law firm told NBC News, which also reported that Riibe and his attorney were spotted Sunday morning with investigators on the beach where Sudiksha Konanki was last seen.
