A website named ‘Dogequest’ has published the Names, Addresses, and Phone numbers of Tesla owners across the United States, accompanied by an interactive map featuring a Molotov cocktail cursor, drawing a sharp rebuke from Elon Musk. Tesla CEO Elon Musk labeled the act as “Extreme Domestic Terrorism” in a post on Twitter. The website reportedly demands owners prove that they have sold their vehicles to have their information removed — an apparent backlash to Elon Musk’s role as DOGE head in Donald Trump‘s government.

A website called “Dogequest” has reportedly published the names, addresses, and phone numbers of Tesla owners across the U.S., complete with an interactive map and a Molotov cocktail cursor. The site claims it will only remove personal data if owners prove they’ve sold their Teslas, in an apparent backlash to Elon’s ties with the Trump administration. This comes as Tesla dealerships face gunfire, arson attempts, and Cybertruck owners report harassment, while anti-Tesla protests ramp up nationwide.”

Attacks on Tesla started after Donald Trump returned to the White House and asked Elon Musk to oversee the new Department of Government Efficiency, which is tasked with slashing US government spending.

Talking about attacks on Tesla vehicles and showrooms, Elon Musk in an interview on Fox News said, “I always thought that Democrats were supposed to be the party of empathy and caring, and yet they are burning down cars, firebombing dealerships…” Calling them mental illness, he said, “There is some kind of mental illness going on because this doesn’t make any sense. I think there are larger forces at work.” “Tesla is a peaceful company, we’ve never done anything harmful. Only done productive things.” Elon Musk went on to add that Tesla protests are paid. “Who is funding and who is coordinating it? Because this is crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this.”

On March 18, multiple Tesla vehicles were shot and set ablaze at a Las Vegas service centre in an attack that FBI said has “some of the hallmarks” of terrorism. Assistant Sheriff Dori Koren said at least five vehicles were damaged, with the offender using Molotov cocktails to set the cars alight and a firearm to empty “at least three rounds” into separate cars. The FBI’s Las Vegas special agent in charge Spencer Evans said that their Joint Terrorism Task Force was investigating the incident.

The Las Vegas incident is the latest in a series of attacks on Tesla vehicles across the United States, with Tesla showrooms, vehicle lots, charging stations and privately owned cars targeted.
