A flash flood warning has been issued until 3:30pm for portions of the following counties: Chambers, Elmore, Lee, Tallapoosa, Bullock and Macon. So far, 2-4 inches of rain has fallen in this area and between 1-2 more inches are possible this afternoon. Roads may become flooded without warning, so please be careful when driving in this area. If you are unsure of the depth of water on a roadway, turn around.
