FROZEN FOUR CHAMPS: WMU Men’s Hockey defeats Boston Univ. 6-2, earns first national title

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — A historic run came to a satisfactory conclusion Saturday as the Western Michigan University Broncos earned their first-ever Frozen Four title in St. Louis, Missouri.

After three periods of play, the Broncos defeated Boston University by a score of 6-2.

Saturday’s victory comes just two days after the Broncos made another historic feat, winning the Frozen Four semifinals over the Denver Pioneers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
