Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino are over. Shortly after news broke that the former couple called off their wedding, a source tells Us Weekly that they are “officially split” and that Sydney is “telling friends she is single.”
Oh, and TMZ is out here reporting that Sydney and Jonathan (who were together for seven years) have “been living separate lives for a few months now,” and that they “are not together romantically and haven’t been since January, when they separated.”
Meanwhile, Sydney has been focusing on work: “She’s exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects,” a source tells People. “What did make her overwhelmed though was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it.”
Their insider adds that “She’s not ready to settle down. They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
This comes off another anon source previously telling Us Weekly that “A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments. She doesn’t have a lot of downtime, and it causes tension in their relationship. Sydney is really focused on her career. Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together. Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project, and people always speculate about their relationship and Sydney being close to her costars. It’s a tough dynamic for Jonathan.”
