Barcelona secured their place in the Copa del Rey final with a 1-0 second-leg win over Atletico Madrid which followed a wild 4-4 draw in the first leg.
Hansi Flick is being credited with masterminding the win after coming up with a plan for the game, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The German coach predicted the hosts would start off with patient, defensive approach and try to hit Barca on the counter-attack.
Flick therefore spent the last two training sessions before the game working on speeding up transitions and making it Pedri and Frenkie de Jong’s mission for the game.
The Barcelona boss also had to find a way past Atletico’s aggressive low block and also used the sessions to focus on attacking with little space.
Barcelona’s winning goal came from such a move, with Yamal producing an excellent pass to pick out Ferran Torres to prod home.
Of course the second half was a slightly different story as Atletico were forced to attack in a bid to try and stay in the tie, but Barcelona held on to secure a place in the final.
