Like most of the Memphis Grizzlies players, Zach Edey didn’t have a great game on April 22 in Oklahoma City.
Edey scored only four points and had seven rebounds as the Grizzlies lost 118-99 to the Thunder in Game 2 of their best-of-seven NBA playoff series. The loss dropped the Grizzlies into a 2-0 hole in the series, which will shift to Memphis on April 24.
Edey’s statistical output had been rising after Tuomas Iisalo took over as interim head coach with nine games left in the regular season, but he’s now gone back-to-back games without reaching double digits in rebounds.
Edey and the Grizzlies will be back in action on Thursday (8:30 p.m. CT, TNT) when they host the Thunder for Game 3 at FedExForum.
