‘Conclave’ is a period drama revolving around the Vatican. In particular, the film follows Cardinal Thomas Lawrence, played by Ralph Fiennes, as he participates in one of society’s oldest and most secretive events: the selection of a new pope. As Cardinal Lawrence organizes a group of cardinals tasked with the selection, he ends up uncovering secrets and scandals of the Roman Catholic Church.

The film is starring Fiennes as Cardinal Thomas Lawrence, Isabella Rossellini as Sister Agnes, Stanley Tucci as Cardinal Bellinni and John Lithgow as Cardinal Joseph.

‘Conclave’ was released to theaters in October 2024, and has grossed nearly $100 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.
