Kelsey Mitchell had 34 points (7-for-12 from 3-point range). Natasha Howard contributed 17 points. Aari McDonald and Aliyah Boston had 15 points each. Indiana’s bench had just two points.

Jackson gave L.A. the lead with a layup at 2:21. Natasha Howard responded with a basket, but Rae Burrell’s shot from 7-feet out gave the Sparks a 24-21 advantage.

Kelsey Plum extended L.A.’s lead at 1:31 with a layup. Aliyah Boston made a layup of her own at 1:15. After the first quarter, Mitchell led Indiana with 10 points.
