Sunrisers Hyderabad equalled Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s record for the fastest 200 in the Indian Premier League during the IPL 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday. SRH reached the landmark in 14.1 overs to better their previous record, set in 2024, where the Men in Orange reached 200 in 14.4 overs against Mumbai Indians.
Virat Kohli-led Bengaluru scored 200 against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in 2016 in 14.1 overs.
Hyderabad got off to a flying start after openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma came all guns blazing against the Rajasthan attack. The duo added 45 for the first wicket in 3.2 overs.
