Jaxson Dart selected 25th overall in NFL Draft
The Ole Miss quarterback will head north to start his career

The wait to hear his name called in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft may have been longer than Jaxson Dart wanted, but it happened. With the 25th pick, the New York Giants traded back into the first round to select Dart, as he joins the night’s third overall selection, Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter. Dart is Ole Miss’ leader in QB wins, winning percentage and total offensive yardage, while finishing second in total touchdowns and passing touchdowns. Dart was projected by many to be the second quarterback drafted, following only the No. 1 overall pick, Miami’s Cameron Ward.
