Jayden Daniels’ Mom Criticized For Separating Women’s Hoops Star From Commanders’ Quarterback

Regina Jackson did something women have not been able to do very well this year. She boxed out University of Southern California basketball player JuJu Watkins to separate her from her son, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

After USC’s first-round NCAA Tournament game where Watkins scored 22 points in the Trojans’ 71-25 win over UNC Greensboro Watkins and Daniels were seen sitting down and chatting it up. Jackson, who doubles as Daniels’ agent, stepped in between the two and cameras caught her breaking up the conversation.

Jackson also sat in the middle of the two, taking the open seat to virtually separate the two stars of their respective professions.

Fans thought Jackson was too domineering and should have allowed her son his privacy and allow him to have a conversation with Watkins, who is regarded as one of the best players in the country.

But, there were also fans who thought Watkins was looking to distract Daniels and that she was helping him keep his eyes on the prize.

“That’s MAMA PROTECTING HER BABY BOY FROM THE EATERS 💀 She knows exactly what she doing,” one fan wrote.

“She tweaking to tbh, I understand what image she’s trying to uphold with her son but at the same time, JuJu Watkins ain’t some rando, her projection in her career is the 1st overall pick she would be a great match for Jayden,” one fan added.

“She saw Travis Hunter’s situation and said NOT MY SON!!” one fan added.

“Yeah this lame lol these parents are always way too involved. Your kid’s money / life not yours,” one fan added.

“Thats Juju Watkins by the way, not a regular female. Pretty embarrassing if you ask me,” one fan added.

USC and Watkins be playing No. 9 seed Mississippi State in the next round of the tournament on Monday night at 10 p.m. ET. There is no word on whether Daniels and Jackson are planning on attending.
