Julian McMahon‘s ex-wife Brooke Burns is remembering the actor after his death.
The actress and model, 47, shared an Instagram tribute for the late actor on Saturday, July 5, a day after his wife Kelly Paniagua announced he died from cancer at age 56 on July 2.
“Rest in Peace,” Burns wrote over a sweet photograph of Julian and their daughter, 25-year-old Madison McMahon.
In the snapshot shared, Julian and Madison posed cheek to cheek while smiling at the camera before them.

Julian and Burns married in 1999 but divorced two years later in 2001. Their daughter was born in June 2000.
Burns is currently married to director and screenwriter Gavin O’Connor, whom she wed in June 2013. Julian married Paniagua in July 2014. He was previously married to Dannii Minogue from 1994 to 1995, before his relationships with Burns and Paniagua.

Paniagua told Deadline in a statement on July 4 that Julian died days earlier in Clearwater, Fla., from cancer.
“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible,” she said. “We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

Julian was known for his various film and television roles. He starred as Cole Turner, a love interest to Alyssa Milano’s character Phoebe, in Charmed from 2000 to 2005, and he played Dr. Christian Troy on Nip/Tuck from 2003 to 2010.
He also led the CBS crime series FBI: Most Wanted, though he announced his exit from the show in January 2022. His most recent TV role was on Netflix’s The Residence, which was recently canceled after one season.

Julian was beloved by superhero fans for his role as the villainous Victor Von Doom in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). His final red carpet appearance was on March 10 in Austin, Texas, where he promoted his movie The Surfer at the SXSW Film & TV Festival with Nicolas Cage.
After his death, many of Julian’s former costars remembered him with social media tributes, including Milano, Holly Marie Combs, Rose McGowan and Ioan Gruffudd.
