Detroit had five turnovers on Thursday in the NFL’s Hall of Fame Game, and Los Angeles made the Lions pay for those mistakes in the Chargers’ 34-7 win.
The Lions’ issues started on the first play of the game as Detroit fumbled the opening kickoff, and the Chargers turned that into the first score of the game: a 5-yard touchdown pass from Trey Lance to Will Dissly.
Lance looked good, playing the first three quarters. He completed 13-of-20 passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns, while Kimani Vidal rushed for two touchdowns.
Kyle Allen started at quarterback for Detroit, completing 9-of-14 passes for 91 yards with two interceptions.
