CHICAGO (WGN) — Popular fast fashion brand Forever 21 earlier this week announced it had begun “winding down” its US operations as it navigates bankruptcy for the second time in nearly six years.
All locations have begun going-out-of-business sales and, along with its website, normal operations and sales will continue.
Below is a list of the Chicagoland locations that will close and the date of their planned closure:
- Gurnee Mills at 6170 W. Grand Ave in Gurnee – Closed week of March 30
- Orland Square at 288 Orland Square Dr. in Orland Park – Closed week of March 30
- Chicago Ridge at 191 Chicago Ridge Mall Dr. in Chicago Ridge – Closed week of March 30
- Fashion Outlets at 5220 Fashion Outlet Way in Rosemont – Closed week of March 30
- Old Orchard at 4999 Old Orchard Center in Skokie – Closed week of March 30
- Fox Valley at 1068 Fox Valley Center Dr. in Aurora – Closed week of March 30
- Northbrook Court at 2270 Northbrook Court in Northbrook – Closed week of March 30
- Yorktown Center at 300 Yorktown Center in Lombard – Closed week of March 30
- Water Tower Place at 835 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago – Closed week of March 30
- Harlem & Irving at 4146-E North Harlem Ave. in Norridge – Closed by May 1
- North Riverside Park Mall at 7501 West Cermak Road in North Riverside – Closed by May 1
- Southlake Mall at 2060 Southlake Mall in Merrillville, Ind. – Closed by May 1
- Woodfield Shopping Center at 5 Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg – Closed by May 1
- Chicago Premium Outlets at 1650 Premium Outlets Blvd in Aurora – Closed by May 1
International locations, along with the retailer’s international e-commerce business, are not impacted by the bankruptcy filing.
