LIVE UPDATES: Power outages, flight delays as more storms push across Las Vegas Valley

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – It’s a FIRST ALERT Weather Day as more storms push across the Las Vegas Valley Wednesday.

Tuesday, a dust storm and severe thunderstorm warning hit the valley. At some points, over 20,000 NV Energy customers were without power.

Power lines went down, fires rapidly spread and tragedy struck Nellis Farms as animals died during a fire.

FOX5 meteorologists will bring updates on-air and online. This story will be updated with power outages and flight delays as the storms move.

POWER OUTAGES

12:33 p.m. — About 111 power outages reported across Clark County with 2,020 residents impacted.

9:30 a.m. — An NV Energy spokesperson said there are 93 outages throughout the valley impacting 2,857 customers.

FLIGHT DELAYS

12:33 p.m. — A ground stop has been lifted. A departure delay from Harry Reid International Airport is lasting about an average of 30 minutes.
