LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Severe weather has officially moved into Arkansas, with the state already seeing multiple tornadoes and severe thunderstorm warnings earlier this week.
Here’s the latest information on how the storms are impacting the state:
- A tornado warning has been issued for Lonoke County including Lonoke, Carlisle, and Des Arc.
- There are currently no active tornado warnings for Arkansas.
- The tornado warning for Pulaski and Lonoke Counties has been cancelled.
- Pulaski and Lonoke Counties are still under a tornado warning.
- The tornado warning for Jefferson, Saline, and Pulaski Counties continues and is tentatively set to go through midnight.
- A tornado warning has been issued for Jefferson, Saline, and Pulaski Counties.
- Several severe thunderstorm warnings are underway across the state.
- Power outages have gone up to 10,914.
- Tornado warning includes parts of Saline County until 10:45 p.m. It is making its way from Hot Spring County and heading into Saline.
- Arkadelphia has been taken out of the current tornado warning but Malvern and nearby areas are currently in the path.
- It appears that Clark County is out of the tornado warning, but it is now in Hot Spring County.
- A tornado warning has been issued for Clark County.
According to Bo Robertson, the Emergency Management Chief for Garland County, the county has had flooding in nearly the entire area. The flooding has been primarily happening in the Royal/Albert Pike area.
- According to the National Weather Service Little Rock, a tornado watch has been issued for parts of Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas until 4:00 a.m.
- A severe thunderstorm warning was just issued for Pulaski County.
- The mayor of Cave City has confirmed that what they thought was a possible tornado passed low and directly over them, but with little rotation and no touchdown. They have called an all clear and say there was no damage in town as a result of today’s storms.
- A tornado warning has been issued for Nevada County and includes the city of Prescott. Power outages are at about 8,869 at this time.
- Tornado warning issued for Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette and Miller Counties.
- Pulaski County and several other counties are currently under a severe thunderstorm warning.
- There is a severe thunderstorm going on above Glenwood, Arkansas, at this time.
- The National Weather Service confirmed that there is NOT a tornado on the ground in Cave City, Arkansas.
- Confirmed tornado actively happening in Cave City, Arkansas.
- Tornado warning issued for Clark, Pike and into Garland County.
- Circulation can be seen southwest of Cushman, according to the NWS Little Rock.
- A new tornado warning has been issued for Stone County and could be heading into Independence County.
- Pike County is under a severe thunderstorm warning at this time.
- There are currently no active tornado warnings in Arkansas.
- Severe thunderstorm warning has been cancelled for Polk County.
- There are currently active tornado warnings in Howard and Scott Counties.
- Scott County is also under a tornado warning now.
- THV11 meteorologists confirm a wall cloud can be seen between Conway and Menifee via an ARDOT camera.
- A tornado warning has been issued for Van Buren, Stone, and Searcy Counties. Power outages are currently at 5,886.
