Hill Country towns and cities of south-central Texas are again at elevated risk of excessive rainfall and flooding Monday.

A flood watch remains in place for the region through evening. New rounds of downpours were developing and expanding between San Antonio and Waco during the morning, with similar conditions expected throughout the day.

The National Weather Service is warning of the potential for 2 to 4 inches of new rainfall, with some locations picking up as much 10 inches.
