It’s that time of year when Lollapalooza releases its summer lineup to a crowd of fans and critics online.
The famous Chicago music festival, which attracted crowds upwards of 500,000 last year, published a list of artists sure to appeal to rock, metal, pop, EDM, and even K-pop fans.
Here’s a guide to Lollapalooza, including who to see, when to go and how to buy tickets.
Who is headlining Lollapalooza?
The following artists will be featured as headliners at Lollapalooza 2025: Olivia Rodrigo; Tyler, The Creator; Sabrina Carpenter; Rüfüs Du Sol; Luke Combs; Twice; A$AP Rocky; Korn; Gracie Abrams and Doechii.

Lollapalooza daily lineup
Lollapalooza has not yet released its day-to-day schedule, but the announcement will most likely occur this spring. Last year, the music festival released its daily lineup on March 25.

When is Lollapalooza?
Lollapalooza will be held between Thursday, July 31 and Sunday, August 3.

Lollapalooza is always hosted at Chicago’s Grant Park.
When do Lollapalooza tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on pre-sale March 20 for only one hour at 10 a.m. CT, when the festival website says four-day tickets will be at their “guaranteed lowest price.” You can sign up on the website with your phone number or email.

Lollapalooza 2025 ticket prices
General admission four-day tickets start at $385, while GA+ tickets start at $715. GA+ tickets include access to air-conditioned restrooms, a private bar and special food vendors, among other amenities.
VIP four-day tickets, which include access to on-field viewing areas, golf cart transportation and more, start at $1,565. Platinum and Lolla Insider tickets are the most expensive, at $4,500 and $25,000, respectively.
The festival also allows exclusive hotel packages, cabanas, private group tables and party spaces.
What’s not allowed at Lollapalooza?
Lollapalooza has a list of allowed and prohibited items on its website, along with descriptions of its bag and prescription policies. Prohibited items include frisbees, aerosol containers, coolers, drones, inflatables and umbrellas.
