It all comes down to this — two No. 1 seeds, Florida and Houston, face off for the NCAA championship on Monday night in San Antonio. En route to the championship game, Florida narrowly outdueled Auburn, while Houston shocked Duke in Saturday’s Final Four.

The Gators have been here before, winning it all in 2006 and 2007 after an unsuccessful trip in 2000. The Cougars, meanwhile, have never won a championship, with their last two appearances in the title game coming in 1983 and 1984. Houston was last in the Final Four in 2021.
