NCAA’s 5-Word Message to Duke After Eliminating Alabama from NCAA Tournament

The Duke Blue Devils are headed to the Final Four. After knocking the Alabama Crimson Tide out of the tournament on Saturday night with an 85-65 win, Duke will now face the winner of the Houston vs. Tennessee matchup.

Jon Scheyer and company have looked the part of a national championship caliber team all year long. The Blue Devils have not disappointed in the tournament.

Against Alabama, Duke was led by sharpshooter Kon Knueppel. He scored 21 points to go along with five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Cooper Flagg had a solid game as well, scoring 16 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and dishing out three assists. Tyrese Proctor added 17 points in the win.

Following the win, the NCAA sent a five-word message to the Blue Devils about getting back to the Final Four on their NCAA March Madness account.

“WELCOME BACK TO THE #MFINALFOUR,” the post read.

Some fans chimed in on the NCAA’s post to Duke as well in the comments section.

“Complete game tonight. Congrats, Duke,” one fan wrote.

“As a bama fan this sucks but all the credit to Duke they whooped us,” a Crimson Tide fan wrote.

One fired up fan wrote, “Let’s go DUKE!!!”

After the game, the Blue Devils also sent its own two-word message about clinching their berth into the Final Four.

“EAST CHAMPS,” they posted.

So far, Duke and the Florida Gators have punched their tickets to the Final Four. Today, either Houston or Tennessee will earn a spot and Michigan State will face off against Auburn for the final position.
