“I truly believe that you’re somebody who is my best friend, and I’m so grateful for our journey, and when you’re going through the toughest times in your life, I want you to know that you don’t have to go through it alone, that I’ll be there for you, as your man, as your friend, as your partner,” Ellis said in his proposal speech before popping the question.

Pasquarosa excitedly accepted Ellis’ proposal, saying “A million times yes!”.

“I just feel so special and so happy,” Pasquarosa said to the camera after the engagement.

“This is the happiest day of my life,” Ellis shared in the excitement before carrying his fiancée bridal-style off the set.

Are Grant and Juliana from ‘The Bachelor’ still together?

Despite social media rumors that ‘The Bachelor’ couple broke up between the time filming ended and the airing of the finale last night, Ellis and Pasquarosa are currently happily engaged.

In the live “After the Final Rose” segment following the filmed proposal on last night’s finale, the pair made their first public appearance as a couple, sitting down for an interview with host Jesse Palmer.

When Palmer addressed the breakup rumor that circulated online after the “Women Tell All” episode a few weeks back, Pasquarosa said the couple didn’t let it affect them.

“I have family, and I have friends who are family by choice, and those are the opinions that matter to me,” Pasquarosa said of how she blocks out outside chatter. “You’ve got to have fun with it because life is just too serious to take seriously.”

When asked about Ellis’ struggle to make a decision in the final moments of filming due to his lingering feelings for runner-up Litia, Pasquarosa shared she has shown the bachelor grace, saying “he’s the type of man that really does lead with his heart, and he came into this open-minded and he really let himself experience what you need to experience with all the amazing women that we had […] I’m confident in who I am and I’m confident in what we had.”
