- Hawks 134, Hornets 102 (Final)
- Nets 96, Celtics 104 (Final)
- Bucks 93, Warriors 104 (Final)
- Cavaliers 119, Clippers 132 (Final)
📝Final notes📝
- The Celtics were without Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum tonight, but it didn’t matter, as they defeated the Nets 104-96. The victory allows them to join the Cavaliers and Thunder as the only NBA teams to hit the 50-win mark so far this season. Also of note, Derrick White’s performance placed him next to James Harden as the only other player to record at least 225 three-pointers, 50-plus offensive rebounds, at least 60 steals, and 60-plus blocks in a season.
- Also working their way up the record books tonight was Dyson Daniels, who has racked up 194 steals this season, after earning three more tonight in a 32-point win over the Hornets. He now has more steals than any player in a single season since Chris Paul, 15 years ago.
- The Warriors have now won eight of their last nine games and 13 of their last 15, rebounding from Monday’s loss to the Nuggets by defeating the Bucks. Most impressively, they did so without Stephen Curry, who sat this one out to rest. Jimmy Butler and Brandin Podziemski both came up big for Golden State, scoring 24 and 17 respectively, while Buddy Hield added 15 off the bench.
- The Cavaliers dropped their second straight game, losing to the Clippers in Los Angeles. It’s just the third time this season Cleveland has dropped two in a row. The win is large for the Clippers, to keep pace with the Warriors, and also get closer to the Timberwolves in a battle for the No. 6 seed in the West.

Clippers inch closer🤏
The Clippers outscored the Cavaliers by three in the second quarter, but trail 73-68 at the break.
Part of the LA squad’s offensive outburst is a series of nine straight made threes between the first and second quarters, including a perfect 3-for-3 from Bogdan Bogdanović and Leonard.

Warriors keeping the advantage
We’ve reached halftime in Golden State, and the Bucks trail 58-44.
The returning Brandin Podziemski, who drew the start in Stephen Curry’s absence has 11 points, tying Quinten Post for the game’s top mark.
Green has been doing a little bit of everything for the Warriors, including grabbing three boards, dishing out two assists, grabbing two steals, and rejecting three shots. His defense has been key in their success tonight, and it’s on display below. He deflects the ball out to Moody, who gets the break going and sets up Cam Spencer for the finish,

💥Fireworks in LA💥
The Cavaliers and Clippers are putting on a display of finely-tuned offense early, playing to a 45-37 score with the advantage going to Cleveland after a quarter of action.

Warriors came out to play
Golden State jumped out to a 12-3 lead quickly on Milwaukee.
You do that by hitting your shots and playing defense. Both happen here as Draymond Green, who already has three blocks, gets one of them on Giannis Antetokounmpo in the post, which starts the fast break that ends with a Moses Moody three-ball.

🍀Celtics reach 50🍀
Boston became the third team this season to hit the 50-win mark with a 104-96 victory over the Nets.
Scheierman was key in Boston’s victory, hitting a three at the buzzer to end the third quarter, which gave his team the lead going into the fourth, and ultimately finished with 20 points off the bench on 6-for-7 long-range shooting.

They had a 13-point lead at the break but fully took over in the third frame behind a 16-point quarter from Risacher, who finished with 21.
Also getting it done was Daniels, who racked up 22 points, and earned three steals, reaching 194 on the season, which is the most by any player since Chris Paul during the 2008-09 campaign.
And of course, Trae cooked too, finishing with a game-high 31 point, eight assist effort in the victory,

🚨Big-time buzzer beater🚨
If you’re not familiar with Baylor Scheierman, you will be now.

Also happening this evening, White will now be placed next to James Harden in the history books, as the only other NBA player to record at least 225 three-pointers, 50-plus offensive rebounds, at least 60 steals, and 60-plus blocks in a season.

🗜️Brooklyn has clamps🗜️
The Nets held the Celtics to just 44 points in the first half, and have a five-point advantage at the break.
Brooklyn is still spreading the wealth, with seven players scoring at least five points, but with no one earning more than Russell’s eight.
Part of the Nets’ success thus far has been setting up others, earning 14 assists on their 19 made field goals, and that’s in play here, as Cameron Johnson spots Nic Claxton for the alley-oop.

Boston is shooting just 14-for-39 from the field after two, with Porziņģis’ 14 points the top mark.
🔥Hotlanta🔥
The Hawks’ offense has exploded in the third, putting up a 30-spot before the end of the frame and now are leading the Hornets 100-70.
Daniels and Risacher are cooking, with Daniels scoring a team-leading 22 points, to go with seven boards, seven assists, and three steals, and Rischaer caught fire from three-point land, making five of seven triples for 19 points.

Young has a game-high 16 points thus far, while Dyson Daniels and Okongwu each have 15 for Atlanta.
DaQuan Jeffries has put 15 on the board to lead the Hornets while shooting 3-for-3 from beyond the arch.
Underway in Boston
The Celtics don’t have Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown tonight, but they do have Derrick White and Kristaps Porziņģis.
Here they work together, with Porziņģis deflecting the pass to White, who then feeds it back to Porziņģis for a strong two-handed slam on a wide-open break.

🔝3️⃣Stories
- The Celtics will have the opportunity to become the third team in the NBA to reach the 50-win mark this season tonight when they host the Nets. With just 14 games left on their schedule and sitting 7.5 games back of the Cavaliers, Boston is unlikely to make any real progress toward the No. 1 seed. However, the Knicks are still lurking, so every win down the stretch will matter for the Celtics.
- The snapping of a seven-game win streak and a second loss with Jimmy Butler in their lineup was handed to the Warriors by the Nuggets on Monday. They’ll be working to bounce back tonight when they host the Bucks, but they’ll have to do so without Steph Curry, who will sit this matchup out. As for Milwaukee, they’re knotted up with the Pacers for the rights to homecourt in the first round, and the Pistons are right behind them, just one game back from their midwestern foes.
- The Cavaliers head West and will play tonight for the first time since their 16-game win streak was ended by the Magic on Sunday. They’ll face a Clippers team that still has a chance to avoid the play-in, as the six-seeded Warriors, Timberwolves, and Clippers are all within one game of each other for playoff positioning.
