Jarry complains a bit to Norrie about whatever was bothering him earlier in the match (maybe some slow movement from Norrie between points?), and that draws jeers…
But Jarry is respectful about it, and the crowd eventually applauds him as he shakes Norrie’s hand and exits the court.

Uh-oh, trouble for Alcaraz…
He fought back from 4-1 down in the opening set and played his way into a tiebreak, but Rublev has won that breaker…

Norrie holds serve again, and he’s just one game away from victory now.
Again: he had a match point in the third set, but that was in the tiebreak, whereas he has a decent cushion this time…

Alcaraz was actually 4-1 down after suffering an untimely break, or timely in the case of Rublev…
But the world No 2 has pulled it back to 4-4 in this opening set!

Norrie saves three break points and Jarry saves multiple game points, but eventually the Briton holds serve!
That’s massive for Norrie, who now has a 3-0 lead in this final set.

On Centre Court, Alcaraz and Rublev are under way, as the defending champ faces the 14th seed.
And it’s a good start for the Russian, who has a break to lead 4-2 in the first set…
Alcaraz, aiming for a third straight title at Wimbledon, has fought through adversity already this week. He’ll seemingly have to do so again today.

And Jarry errs! For the first time since the first set, we have a break of serve!

Jarry reduces the deficit to 4-3, then makes it 4-4 with a one-two punch.
And again! Norrie can’t return a high backhand volley, and Jarry leads 4-5.
Resolute defence by Norrie, who withstands Jarry’s power until the Chilean nets a forehand. 5-5.
A hop and skip of frustration from Norrie, who nudges a ground shot long.
It’s 5-6 to Jarry, who has set point on his serve…
Ace down the middle! The match is tied at two sets all!

Norrie fails to capitalise on a Jarry second serve, and he falls to 0-1.
Make that 0-2, as Jarry smashes a backhand winner cross-court.
But the Chilean’s return of serve lands wide on the next point, and Norrie is on the board. 1-2.
Now a big return from the Briton, and it’s 2-2! He has the mini-break back. 132mph serve, but a great read by Norrie.
And a phenomenal forehand winner down the line, on the pass, brings Norrie to 3-2!
Jarry strikes long, and at the change of ends, Norrie leads 4-2…
