RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – After a severe windstorm Tuesday, July 1, NV Energy crews continue to work to repair extensive damage the next day.
“Our crews are still hard at work to make repairs to our system and restore power to customers as we are able,” the NV Energy Facebook post said. “We appreciate the patience of our customers as we do this work.”
There are 1,484 unplanned outages in Nevada as of 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, according to the NV Energy website.
This is down from 30,000 unplanned outages on Tuesday, the post said.
Two of the outages are in Washoe County affecting six customers.
Another two outages are in Lander County affecting 112 customers.
