SO WLWT NEWS FIVE’S RICHARD CHILES JOINS US NOW LIVE FROM AURORA. THIS MORNING AS WE BRING YOU TEAM COVERAGE. GOOD MORNING. RICHARD. NOW TIFFANY GOOD MORNING. THIS IS IN THE HEART OF DEARBORN COUNTY. FOLKS HERE NO STRANGERS TO THAT FAST MOVING, HIGH RISING WATER. THIS IS A GEORGE STREET BRIDGE. YOU GET AN IDEA OF JUST HOW HIGH THIS WATER IS. YOU CAN SEE THE WATER OF THIS CREEK ALREADY LAPPING OVER THE BRIDGE DECKING. NOW, RIGHT NOW, WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THIS TRIBUTARY TO THE OHIO RIVER, THAT RIVER RIGHT NOW, AT THAT MODERATE FLOOD STAGE, HOVERING AROUND 51FT. SO FOR THESE COMMUNITIES, YOU’VE ALREADY SEEN THESE ROAD CLOSURE SIGNS GOING UP ON THE LOW LYING AREAS WITH OBVIOUS DUE REASON. AGAIN, THIS IS A BRIDGE THAT NORMALLY TRAVERSES THIS CREEK. IT IS A TRIBUTARY INTO THE OHIO. SO WE’RE STARTING TO SEE THAT FLOW OF WATER IN AND OUT OF THE RIVER AGAIN, AS THIS RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE AND WE START TALKING ABOUT ADDITIONAL RIVER FLOWING. WE’RE HOPING FOR THAT CREST SOMETIME, EITHER LATE TOMORROW OR EARLY TONIGHT. THAT WILL CERTAINLY DICTATE WHAT WE SEE. THESE ARE ROAD CLOSURES THAT ARE UP AGAIN THAT ARE KIND OF LEADING INTO THIS LOW LYING AREA. WE’RE GOING TO STAY OUT HERE. BRING YOU MORE FROM THESE FOLKS WHO’VE ALREADY BEEN FORCED TO EVACUATE FROM THEIR HOMES AS THE RIVER AGAIN, IS CREPT UP THROUGH THEIR BACKYARDS INTO THEIR BASEMENTS. SO THIS IS KIND OF THE HEART OF WHERE WE’RE SEEING THE FLOODING HERE IN EASTERN INDIANA. WESTERN HAMILTON COUNTY. IT’S BEEN A LOT LIKE THIS ON RIVER ROAD AS WELL. BUT THESE LOW LYING AREAS. THIS IS WHERE IT’S PARTICULARLY PRONE TO THIS EARLY RIVER FLOODING. THIS IS WHERE THESE FOLKS AGAIN, HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE, BUT THEY MOVE OUT AGAIN, JUST BEING VERY CAUTIOUS AS THAT RIVER INCHES UP MOMENT BY MOMENT. AGAIN, THAT IS THEIR CONCERN AS THEY WATCH, WAIT AND SEE WHAT THE RIVER WILL DO BEFORE IT RECEDES. REPORTING LIVE THIS MORNING IN
